The Impact of Mobilization
The seed of an Ethiopian mission movement
Families Embracing God’s Mission
With 44% of the population under the age of 15, the Ethiopian team knows that in order to mobilize the church in Ethiopia, you must mobilize the family. Weave, a CMM strategic focus team, is partnering with church leaders and children’s ministry leaders to host family mobilization trainings, which are beginning to change the culture of the church.
Mobilizing Other Countries
The team is working with other CMM mobilizers to help train Kenyans and Nigerians to start mobilization and missions sending movements from their own regions.
Sending Goers
Approximately 16 million people from unreached people groups live in Ethiopia — and even more live just within a day’s drive from its borders. The team is engaging 16 tribal unreached people groups, and because of recent efforts, there are now small groups of Muslim-background believers coming to the capital city for Bible training.
Mobilizing Leaders
The Ethiopian team has mobilized more than 10,000 pastors and college students through various mission education programs that point those who know and follow Jesus to those with no access to the gospel. They are multiplying Kairos and Perspectives courses and training hundreds to lead our Nvision seminar.
