The God Ask
A Fresh Biblical Approach
to Personal Support Raising
As we work to mobilize missionaries to reach the unreached, we’ve seen that lack of funds is the one of the primary reasons workers never make it to the field or leave the field prematurely. We therefore set out to flood the nations with spiritually healthy, vision-driven, and fully-funded mission workers.
This is the mission of our ministry Support Raising Solutions, and The God Ask lays out a biblical vision of raising personal support in a God-honoring way. First published in 2013, it has become one of the leading books on support raising and has been translated into five languages so far.
Raising support doesn’t have to be intimidating. It isn’t about money or asking people to give. It is about looking to God to provide. He has given workers a vision for ministry, and now they get to invite others into that vision. It’s not a Man Ask. No. It is a God Ask!
How It’s Used
The God Ask is required reading for SRS Bootcamp, a two-day interactive learning environment that trains potential mission workers to raise support. It’s also served as encouragement and guidance for new mission recruits or veteran missionaries.
